Dear Child Care Providers,
Today, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of more than 1.2 million Stork Craft drop-side baby cribs distributed in the United States.
The Department of Social Services (DSS) urges child care centers to inspect the cribs at their center to determine if they are affected by the recall and take the appropriate steps. You may also want to share this information with parents.
This recall includes Stork Craft cribs with manufacturing and distribution dates between January 1993 and October 2009. Additionally, Stork Craft cribs with the Fisher-Price logo that have manufacturing dates between October 1997 and December 2004 are included in the recall.
