Dear DCFS Licensed Provider,

It has been almost a year since the implementation of the State Central Registry Disclosure requirements for all DCFS licensed child care providers. I want to take this opportunity to remind providers that licensing standards require that the SCR disclosure must be completed annually for all staff.

A copy of the disclosure form (SCR-1) can be found on the DCFS Website. In order to ensure on-going compliance with this requirement, licensing strongly recommends that each provider, if they have not already done so, develop and implement an internal system to ensure that annual disclosures are completed timely and in accordance with licensing standards.

It is very important that you routinely access the Department's web site for new licensing information and updates from the DCFS Licensing Section. You can also register your facility's e-mail address to receive updated information.
