East Feliciana Parish ZIP Code 70789 Added to Phase One of DSNAP 08.23.16 - The federal Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) has approved an additional ZIP code for the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) beginning today, through Saturday, August 27. Residents living in East Feliciana Parish ZIP code 70789 and who were impacted by the flooding are now eligible to apply for the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP). More than 7,000 Households Receive Disaster Food Assistance on First Day of DSNAP Operation 08.23.16 - The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) issued more than $2.8 million in disaster food benefits to 7,062 households who applied for Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) aid in eight parishes Monday, August 22.

Avoyelles Parish ZIP Code 71351 Added to Week's DSNAP 04.12.16 -The federal Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) has approved an additional parish for the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) beginning today, Tuesday, April 12 through Friday, April 15. Residents living in the communities of Brouillette, Vick, and Center Point in Avoyelles Parish ZIP code 71351 and who were impacted by the March floods may be eligible to receive disaster food assistance.
DSNAP Sites Approved in Four Parishes 04.09.16 - The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) has received approval to operate the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) in four additional parishes - Catahoula, East Carroll, Franklin, and St. Helena - for four days beginning Tuesday, April 12 through Friday, April 15. Almost 52,000 Households Receive Disaster Food Assistance in Initial DSNAP Operation 03.29.16 - The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) issued more than $19.1 million in disaster food benefits to 51,720 households who applied for Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) aid in 23 parishes last week. DSNAP Sites Approved for Allen Ascension and Calcasieu 03.26.16 - Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) sites will open this week in Allen, Ascension and Calcasieu parishes to issue disaster food assistance to residents in specific parts of these three parishes impacted by floods.
