Division of Fiscal Services
- Administers and coordinates all fiscal activities to assure that available financial resources are maximally utilized and adequately controlled through the process of grants management and accounting.
- Performs cognizant agency functions for the review of all audits performed by Certified Public Accountants on all local governments and their component units, and on private non-profit agencies receiving federal funds.
- Reviews the audit reports and audit work as necessary of Certified Public Accountants who perform audits of all contracts awarded by the Department of Social Services to insure that the audit report and audit work meet all applicable federal and state standards.
- Includes three administrative units: Financial Management, Payment Management, and External Audit.
